So, I have an 02 Curvy 650S, and I need a new chain and sprockets. I've searched and found that an X-ring chain seems good, with steel sprockets.
Just to make sure that I don't order the wrong ones, is this suitable for my bike? http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/3140-s...ring-gold.html |

Good morning.
That indeed is the correct kit for a faired Curvy. If I were you I would pay the extra & have a Tsubaki SG chain instead of the APX. The SG is basically Tsubakis premium chain (SGX). Without the gold finish, & it has 'o' rings instead of 'x' rings. Its work out at around another £16, but if looked after it will outlast an APX grade chain considerably. Cheers. |
