Might be half a dozen starters on the grid by then.
If we are lucky.

I prefer Donnington, even though Silverstone is closer its not what it used to be.

Well I am not suprised. Motogp has been on at them for years to improve the facilities and they have dragged their heals all the way. F1 comes along and lifts its skirt and all of a sudden theyve got £10m to spend on track improvements and are fastracking (pardon the pun) the improvements. If I was dorna I think I two would have told them politely to p*ss off as well

In short, Silverstone get the up and coming sport and Donington buy the dying sport.

Dont get me wrong I love Donny, its local its a good circuit and a great atmosphere but I know Silverstones setup is far better than Donnies at the moment and I am rather looking forward to it.

F1 are funding most of the project, Dorna never offered any money so from a business point of view I can see why they snapped it up.

This is news to me. Why did you get that infomration from? Its a bit strange that they took it off Silverstone because they woudnt pay what F1 thought it was worth. Even if htey are paying the upfront costs you can bet your better bottom dollar it is clawed back over the contract period.

It was mentioned when F1 said they were going to Donnington, a while back now. Yes, I am sure you are right in that there is a clause in it somewhere form F1 to get the money back.
