Default Recommend a Wiltshire Cafe

Can anyone recommend a cafe or layby caravan for a breakfast between Marlborough and Devises?
TIA

I don't think that there is one. There's a layby cafe between Marlborough and Hungerford, and a cafe between Avebury and Calne.

There's plenty of cafes in Devizes itself, so if you're going into, or through Devizes, your best bet would be to stop there. There's free bike parking in the market square.

Nope. wyrdness is right. There isn't one on that particular part of the route you have mentioned.

Thanks for your help!
I was afraid that was going to be the answer.
We're planning on camping light with no cooking paraphnalia... but it's looking like bacon & egg on the campsite. Oh well

All those great biking roads and no cafe - there must be a business opportunity for someone!!

It's only 15 mins from Marlborough to Devizes, with cafes in both towns, so it's not like there isn't anywhere to stop for miles.

Where are you going to be camping?

There's usually a burger van in the car park of Focus DIY just as you come into Devizes.

When your coming out of Marlborough you'll hit the Beckhampton roundabout, your 1st exit takes you down the A361 towards Devizes, if you take the 2nd exit (A4) towards Calne and follow the road down towards the Black Horse pub near enough opposite on the left hand side of the road is the silent circle cafe, situated under the Cherhill white horse. To get back towards Devizes either do a u-turn or follow the road down until you come to a left hand turn signposted Blacklands, North wilts golf club, cracking piece of road and that will bring you back out on the A361, left will take you back towards Marlborough or right will drop you into Devizes.

I pass that place every day on my commute and each thinking it seems like it was built to be a biker cafe but never seem to see many bikes there. I guess it probably has something to do with the times of the day I pass it and hardly ever pass it on a weekend.

I think it's ran by the knit your own sandals out of yoghurt brigade, so the chances of getting a greasy bacon buttie are probably on the same par as finding rocking horse sh!t. Sure they might rustle you up a delicious bowl of museli and fair trade stinging nettle tea
