SV Mirror Issue

Hi all,

This is in-fact my first ever post on this forum so I better say hello first off. Look forward to absorbing all your useful advice, tips, and comedy genius.

Here is my question:

I have recently purchased an SV650S 99 plate and am in desperate need of a left hand mirror. I've been on M & P direct and ordered this set:http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/5...4-Style-Mirror

But didn't notice it said 02-04... Have I made a mistake in buying these? they haven't arrived yet so I can still cancel the order. Thought the fixings would be quite similar but I may well be wrong.

Also does anyone here have a PipeWerx end can? Got one on order and be useful to know what they are like i.e. how they sound. And how hard they are to get on?

yep wrong mirror id phone them and ask to change it to save the hastle

Dave is right, but, just to clarify that's a mirror intended for faired SV models from '03 onwards.
It may also fit GSXRs '02 or earlier, but it's not for an SV before '03.
