A band I work with are playing at The Steam Engine, near to Waterloo Station. Mainly Funk and Soul covers with some reworks of more upto date stuff. Could be good for a change of scene

A night with the girls is great, but the film was rubbish! Offensive towards the people of the UAE and their culture, and gay men, and any women going through the menopause. Sometimes cliches are funny, but on this occasion it was cheap shot after cheap shot. I've never been a fan of SATC anyway but the friend I went with loves it and even she came out fuming about the way it insulted so may different groups in an effort at humour. Take lots of Maltesers though, they are the main reason for any trip to the cinema because jumbo bags of confectionary eaten in the dark are rendered calorie free.
