Gear Linkage - SV650.org

Hi all, I need a gear linkage for m project however it differs from the stock SV linkage due to the new rearsets.

It now has a male end on the foot end and obviously still retains the female end on the selector shaft end. IIRC the SV requires a MALE/MALE rod (FNARRRR)

Any idea where I can get a Female LH Thread and Male RH Thread Rod made up?

Also any idea on a rough length and thread pitch size as I have nothing to go on.

buy a tap and die set?

Got one but don't really fancy that. Plus the rod supplied is Female Female so I'd loose an inch on the rod as it would be hollow. So probably end up being too short.

who make the rearset? as they should sell the appropiate rod or linkage point

tap and die is a good option but difficult if you aint ever done it.
I need to be shown how to use 1 before i'm let loose

Look on mcgill motorsports on ebay, I seem to recall they do specific stuff like that (or it may just be rose joints etc)
