![]() I remember when I was looking for a curvy sv the yellow was the one I wanted but everytime I came close to having one it went way over my budget, ended up with a blue one which suits its personality. Make sure to get a fender extender and check/change the spark plugs, sv's have a major design flaw in that when you ride in the rain all the water gets lobbed into your plugs unless you have a fender extender. Which results in lack of sparkage and running on one cylinder which has happened to me and other people I know loads of times! But yea have fun, their very forgiving bikes which is what I miss most about them. |

Welcome and may I say nice bike. Should have been a black faired pointy but you can always trade up in time.

I've done near 20,000 miles on mine, went around scotland and go back and forth to work on it.
Have only had issues with it twice in very heavy rain but I know of others who get it quite regular. I need to put an extender on mine as I'm getting fed up of having to take the front apart to get to the spark plugs and clean them out. |
