Ever the one to book exotic breaks, we have decided to descend on weymouth as we have never been before, so we have 4 nights booked next week starting tomorrow, hopefully weather will be reasonable.
Any must see places down that way? |

I went to the tank museum on the IOW a couple of years ago, it was brilliant, they crushed a couple of mk3 astras with a Russian t14 (I think) monster thing it was.
Bits of the cars wing got wrapped round the tracks, took them ages to free it. |

tank museum also hosts things like, model airshows and classic car/bike shows, pool quay though yeah, there is also an aquarium and reptile place there.

+1 on the tank museum, good day out.
Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove as mentioned also a good day out to. Get yourself up onto Portland Bill, if the weather is clear its a great view from there. Theres a Sealife Centre in Weymouth itself thats good for a visit if its raining. Theres a pretty good museum in Dorchester and you have Maiden Castle there as well. If your willing to come a little further, then dont overlook the Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford as well.
