Default Weymouth here we come !!

Ever the one to book exotic breaks, we have decided to descend on weymouth as we have never been before, so we have 4 nights booked next week starting tomorrow, hopefully weather will be reasonable.

Any must see places down that way?

I went to the tank museum on the IOW a couple of years ago, it was brilliant, they crushed a couple of mk3 astras with a Russian t14 (I think) monster thing it was.
Bits of the cars wing got wrapped round the tracks, took them ages to free it.

tank museum also hosts things like, model airshows and classic car/bike shows, pool quay though yeah, there is also an aquarium and reptile place there.

the IOW one is budget compared to the bovington one

+1 on the tank museum, good day out.

Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove as mentioned also a good day out to.

Get yourself up onto Portland Bill, if the weather is clear its a great view from there.

Theres a Sealife Centre in Weymouth itself thats good for a visit if its raining.

Theres a pretty good museum in Dorchester and you have Maiden Castle there as well.

If your willing to come a little further, then dont overlook the Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford as well.
