Done mine today. Mothballing the Daytona over the winter, so Custard is coming out of retirement.
She started 3rd hit of the button today after nearly 4 weeks sat in the shed

Don't think that's much to do with binding, more the pins were stuck and only one pad is hitting the disc properly. The pad that's lost its material has gone rusty behind the friction material and that's what's caused it to delaminte. I've seen it happen on a few sliding calipers. If the pistons were sticky too then you'd have had binding, but that's more a result of sticky pins.

The front wheel wouldnt move Lozzo, the right hand caliper had to be "eased" off using a mallet, but they are both nice & smooth now, just waiting for my new pads to arrive.

it usually takes three presses of the button to get mand goin too Col

I hope you took the slide off, removed the rubber gromet, cleaned the white stuff off, and refitted?

I must do my rear brake. Job fro Friday em thinks
