Default Scottoiler Removal

Guys,

I have (well my dad now has) a K4 SV650 n and I have removed the scottoiler.

I unplugged the scottoiler hose from the vacuum pipe and have left it exposed.

Should it have a cap on it or anything or will it be ok as it is?

Cheers
Neil

yup. Don't know if it actually needs it, but the original pack comes with a little plug about 1/4 inch long that you slip over the nozzle and a little clamp.

Not sure. I managed to get one off some kind soul on here! Anything will work though. I imagine a brake bleed nipple cap would be the right size too.
Maybe you could put some heat shrink on it or something

Or pop some tubing on it and plug it with a bolt.

I'll look in my Scottoiler box to see if I threw my SV's old one in there.
