Hey
I have the same issue with a hugger I bought for my 61
Reg sv. After deciding not to cut the hose bracket I spoke to my dealership today and they suggested screwing the hose clip into the bracket. This sounded sensible but I haven't had a chance to check if it will work.
Quick question. Does your bracket fit your swingarm? Mine fits on. But when I tightened it, there is about an inch at the bottom so it is not snug enough to prevent moving.

I'll try post a pic if I can.

I ended up cutting the hose bracket off as it was the only way i could stop the hugger from rubbing, mine fits snugly, have added a pic
Could not screw the bracket into mine as if you see on the pic non of the holes on the bracket are on the arm

Good work. I think my hugger is not the correct one for my bike. I've seen on the pyramid website that there are 2 versions. 1 for black swing arms and 1 for silver. My bracket is silver and after seeing your pic you have a black bracket. Damn. Need to eBay a hugger now and buy another one.

Cheers
