Default This weekend!

Ok, we all want to get out in this weather. Who's up for a ride out this weekend and what times can everyone do. When it's decided, I'll make a new thread titled "[RIDEOUT] 26th May" or 27th, so others can see clearly and daddy Mark is kept happy.

I can potentially do anytime saturday. Sunday I am definitely busy in the afternoon/evening. Would need to be home by 3pm latest.

Saturday is probably best for me, so I'm not pushed for time. I'll see if anyone else chimes in and then we can yay or nay it.

Sunday morning looks OK for me, could be fun to get out real early before all the old biddies get up to go to the Garden Centres and the Sunday drivers take to the roads.

Saturday I'm doing boring stuff with the Mrs.

Loomies to Brighton and back by noon? Just a suggestion.

Do you know any good back routes to Brighton? I've only driven there once years ago and I remember it being lots straight A and B roads and roundabouts.

Tony-K is yer man for Brighton routes.

Basically head towards Midhurst the way I took you all the other week (Alton, Petersfield, South Harting, mental road left just before Uppark sign) then head either south or east A272 - Petworth then A283 - Pulborough from there and you'll find Shoreham. Turn left and you'll be in Brighton.

Pretty much any road heading south or east will get you there eventually so if the Axxx gets a bit dull, just turn right and see what happens. (Then head south or east at subsequent junctions. There are some great back roads around Arundal and devils dyke) If you stay to the west of the A23 the roads are much better.

If you've got time head home more northerly (sort of A24) then pick up Box-hill and Newlands corner.

Be warned!!!
If the sun's out all those roads will be full of nutters and well meaning police officers.

Fallout. You're going nowhere until you tidy your room!!

If we did anything long, it'd have to be early for me on Sunday, so I'd be up for that. I can drag myself out of bed any time. A really early start would make things quite interesting too. Quiet sunday roads would be pretty epic.

Of course, it all depends on me cleaning my room. It's so unfair.
