Hi All,
I own a K3 1000 and got a spare shock from the previous owner. It is used but in good condition, no weeping of oil or anything like that. I understand it fit's SV's.... http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...r+shock+pointy £45 posted and it's yours. |

Can anyone confirm for me if this will definitely fit a 2005 K5 (black frame) Pointy?
Thanks |

It'll fit but you'll need to cut the battery tray. See row 20 of the chart in the link below.

That is a very handy document. Who put it together?

Hmm, interested but not sure what 'Reservoir Notes - Not easily installed' actually means in terms of fitting it...? Anyone got any experience?

Seems to be just the battery box that it fouls on. I'm no longer in the market for this, shame..really wanted it!
If you look at the above posts there's one that sends you to another thread showing the bit you cut from the battery box |

BTW, it's on a first come, first served basis. I do have someone else interested now but until someone says "yep, I'll take it", it remains available.

Yea I got one on mine. Not the easiest one to fit I had to cut the battery box, make a bracket to support it, and relocate the ecu so I could get the battery back a bit. It was worth all the effort tho. |
