idle problem on sv650 2007

Hi Riders,
I am new to this site, but I believe that you may help me ( or advise how to )
sort an idle problem on my sv650s 2007.
I use my sv almost every day for commuting and some weekend for joy
I passed my licence last year (2011) in June and since did over 15000 miles (currently 27500 miles on a clock) on it and I enjoyed every moment except hail when was riding
After all this miles I decided that it is time to learn some tricks like wheelies and burn out - you name it BUT...
Last time I tried wheelie I did hear like click click sound down at throttle body and since the idle speed plays with me...
Every time when commuting and ride on motorway idle speed is really high when change to neutral ( 3000+ rpm ) when engine is 85+ warm. There is no problem when bike is cold. On the other hand when I go for weekend ride on Cat and Fiddle road ( Macclesfield area ) my bike goes like the wind, like new with no problems. Weird really.
I thought it may be problem with throttle cables so I lubricated and adjusted them. Still same
Has anyone experienced same or similar problem? Could someone help or advise me what to do. Shall I change the cables for new ones or could it be synchro on throttle body? But it works fine when I play on weekends...
