Right I installed some HIDs recently and after a ride out yesterday the low beam will not work.
I have tried/tested the following: Regular H4 (only worked on high) The connector block for the headlight loom is not burnt out The fuse has been replaced And I'm still in the same position so do I buy a multimeter and do the check or replace the loom with a spare I have? Are there any know issues to do with this? Thanks in advance guys. |

how do you mean the low beam wont work. its HID they don't have hi and lo bulbs. if its an H4 bi-xenon HID then its always on and there is a shield that moves or the bulb moves to create hi and lo.

start by going back to square 1 and un-plug the HID loom and re fit the H4 bulbs...now see whats happening.
the HID kit you need is a hi/lo kit...the bulb is moved when you switch from low to high beam. |

And yes it moves when set to high. It has something to do with power delivery when switched on dipped beam only. |

does the kit have a relay?
does it have stupid switches to make it suitable for OBD? |

no relay.
The kit cannot be the issue tho as i have tried it with regular h4 bulbs and its not doing the same on there. to me it must be a broken connector or burnt wire? |

Check the white dip beam wire were it goes round the head stock.
when you get the H4 working , then re install the HID kit

If no relays then may have burnt out the hi/lo switch on the handle bars?
