Default SV speedo and GSXR forks?

Hi, could anyone point me to a supplier with sensor/magnets kit to get my speedo working with gsxr forks? I actually managed to cut/grind the original sv sensor out of the speedo unit and if I wipe a magnet past it something registers on the dash. If I mount some strong magnets on the disc and mount this close by, might it work?

I am presuming 4 magnets are required? 2004 pointy.

Thanks in advance to all.

Sensor

I have a brand new one that I don't need if you want it. Are you really in Zimbabwe?

Just make sure that you get the sensor the right distance away, because If it's to far away away the speedo will read wrong.

When I used 4 magnets mine only worked under 20mph or so, after then it just jumped all over the place.
So I used 8 instead alternating the polarity each time, hasn't missed a beat since.
I used GSXR sensor of ebay for about 5 quid, but I guess the sv one will work, don't know where you would mount in though...
