As per title. Looking to get into basic film photography. Would ideally like a Konica Autoreflex camera and Hexanon lenses. But would consider others. Let me know if you have anything or know anyone that does going cheap.

Have you considered the Olympus OM range or Pentax K1000?

Where are you?
I have a Canon SLR, plus a WHOLD darkroom outfit. Willing to discuss, I used this loads and now it just sits in the loft unused. The camera is the EOS type, you will need lenses becaus ethe lenses also fit the newer digital SLR which therefore saved me a small fortune. |

OM was a lovely range so yes please. The reason I mentioned the Konica is that they don't have the OM or Pentax cult status, they're good cameras with decent lenses that can be had cheap.
I used to have a Canon EOS 1000F when they first came out. Great cameras, but I want something without any tempting A,S or auto modes. Manual focus too. Last edited by BigBaddad; 30-11-12 at 07:58 PM. |

I still have my OM10 and my Cannon 1000fn
Both good slr camera's I've got a wide angle and telephoto lens for the OM, plus a motorwinder too. There is something really pleasing about holding the OM it's really well made, plus proper pictures printed on proper paper. Not selling the OM as it was my 21st birthday present

Canon AE1 and bunch of lenses if you're interested. No auto focus malarkey here!

I use a Nikon FM and CZ lenses. The F-mount has been around since 1959 and with a few exceptions is forwards and backwards compatible with most cameras and lenses built since.
Nothing is inexpensive, but the Nikkor lenses and Nikon bodies hold their value if you plan to sell them on later. |
