Default Winter riding tips - GM stylee

1. If you plug in a battery conditioner to keep your battery healthy in the cold weather, don't forget to unplug it before moving the bike to check the oil. @Tomor, Is it possible to buy an Optimate3 wall bracket on its own? Apparently they shatter into a million pieces if they hit the ground when cold.

Do you mean the actual back of the optimate with the lugs to put screws through? Or the black plastic bracket you screw to a wall and 'hang' the optimate on?

Not just me then... Mine sits on a shelf beside the bike and thankfully fell onto the carpetted floor of my garage without breaking. Oddly enough I've always remember to disconnect it first ever since, as I'm sure you will now Mark. Not as bad as riding off with the disc lock still on (which I have yet to do).

Mines hung on a rafter above the bikes so I can't miss it.

Never owned or used one! It's very rare the bike goes a month without being ridden.
