Default HJC IS-16 cheek pads

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can buy new cheek pads for my HJC IS-16 helmet. Seem to be able to find loads in the US but nothing from the UK.

Cheers for any help

I'd give Infinity a ring. They stock loads of HJC and are bound to have some damaged ones kicking about that'll have perfectly serviceable cheek pads.

Any bike shop should be able to order them in from one of their suppliers, alternatively M&P Direct have them available to purchase online:

Hmm, just been having a look at the links you gave me and what I've found online. I definitely have an IS-16 helmet, but the spare pads are slightly different to what I already have. The current pads have three poppers to insert it into the helmet, whereas the ones online only show one. Would this be a problem?

It's a stock image and says "Image is for illustration only." on the page so I wouldn't worry about it.

If however you do receive something other than advertised when purchasing online (whch in this case is clearly "HJC IS-16 Type O Cheek Pads [Size]") then you're well covered under the Distance Selling Regulations (and as M&P don't specify who is responsible for the return postal charges on their returns page they'd also have to reimburse that to you).

What should you get back?

The original cost of the outbound postage to you should always be refunded by the seller.

The seller's terms and conditions or returns policy should state who pays the cost of returning the item.

If they don't state this, then the seller has to cover the cost.

In this case, you're entitled to a refund of the total amount you paid, including costs to ship the item to you, and the fee to return the item. No admin or restocking fees should be charged.
Alternatively just give them a call and ask them to double check it's as you expect...

The M&P one's supplied to me were correct.

Oh be gentle uncliping the internal visor. You can't buy the fragile mech that attaches to the visor
