My Pointy Not Starting (with Video) 28/12
Advice please.
Bike last used in the rain and has been left for a week. Turns on. Engine doesn't start. Noise from battery area. Hopefully the video will allow someone to diagnose! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u0z5...ature=youtu.be Thanks very much |

It sounds like you have a low voltage battery. Can you stick it on a charger overnight?

Now sorted. Jump started with the car. Now a cold cold night ride to charge it!

I would still stick it on a trickle charger overnight if you can. Will be a long ride if it is fairly dead.

If it got to that state in a week then your battery may be on it's way out... I've left my bike for 3 weeks before and it started on the button...
