Default sv650 newbie questions.

I have seen one of these at a dealers for £3k. It is on a Y plate and red in colour with 11k miles. It has fairing lowers a colour coded hugger, tinted screen high level Ixil exhaust plus original. It looks to be in good nick.

Is this price about right or are ther any cheaper.

I am on the look out for an Sv for the good lady as she has just passed
her test and she aint riding the mille.

Bit pricey, especially at this time of year... What sort of mileage has it done? Those extras are nice, but shouldn't add much to a dealer's price, and you can get a brand new SV for around £4K if you look around, so you should be able to beat it down I think...

It's not bad... But not brilliant I paid £2650 for my W plate with 9000 miles, bellypan, scotoiler, hugger, immobiliser, DB screen, brand new Sportecs, crash bungs etc in April... bike was (until I got my hands on it) in beautiful condition with full service history, and I still probably paid a little over the odds.

scarey price

I paid £2100 for mine SY, with CCC can and 6000 on the clock in Feb. OK I have since then added lowers £90 (ebay) and a double bubble for £45.

At this time of year I would expect you to be picking up a 2000 S for about £2600 with the goodies from a dealer and about £2200 private

there me thinking it was a good deal. It is out of pinnacle in Stirling and they are offering a grand for a y plate cg125 which aint bad. If you think that is expensive North harbour motorcycles were selling a w plate for £3500

Hi m8 <big burly man-hug>. I think it's a bit pricy for this time of year too. If you like the bike and you're feeling brave, see if it's still for sale in one weeks' time and start knocking the price down for a quick sale. Remember if you loose this one - there are always others.
