Default Tips for first test ride

Test riding this on the weekend.

http://www.triumph.co.uk/uk/787.aspx

Massively more powerful than my current ride so does anyone have any tips? Go easy obviously but after that? I've never riden a proper sports bike before.

Yeah, dont crash

Id never ridden a sports bike until recently, takes a little while to get used to the drop down **** up position. But they handle like nothing else those Daytonas and like all the other 600's most of the power is at the top end, so as long as your in the right gear and dont go too mad you'll be fine

Get the one with the Union Jack across the front, theyre luvverly

I haven't ridden a Daytona 650, so can't help a lot with info on the bike, but I did test ride a Speed Triple 1050 recently (lovely bike!). The best advice is to test ride in good weather as you'll enjoy the ride so much more. Don't even think about test riding an unfamiliar bike in the rain.

The Daytona 650 is reckoned to be a brilliant road bike, so I'm sure that you'll love it.
