Fitted one (oval) the other day. Now has the baffle in and seems to be just as raunchy.

Will make a recording of it and pass it on when I have a bit of time.

Cheers Keith

With baffle it's not much quieter than without.

The baffle comes drilled with a nut / bolt and if you use that you'll have to drill the end pipe. I didn't - I drilled a couple of 2.5mm holes in the baffle and used 3mm self-tapping screws, screwed in to wedge the baffle in place, which works fine.

The baffles are general for any exhaust and have to be cut off to match the slanting end pipe of this can.

Yes - told the insurance company. They were cool as long as the system is BS approved (baffle is stamped with BS mark).

Just on that note, I'm amused because my quite blatantly straight through can has the BS mark on the rivet band.

That's a £50 fine for an illegal can and a £50 fine for taking the p**s

It was manufactured with that band on it.
I think technically it should have a baffle in to be road legal, but the regulations for MOTs and the laws for construction and use don't agree, so it's just messed up.
