Default Panniers and High Level Exhausts

Having the Scorp Hi level, im wondering if its at all possible to fit any soft luggage (looks doubtful) just wondered if anyone had acheived it. Ive only got a humpback tankbag at present and its not big enough (i hate fully extending it as it obscures my view of the clocks and gets in the way a bit at that height)

Been thinking of a tailpack as well - im sick of using the car every time i go somewhere for an overnighter.

I had a problem with soft luggage melting on my standard can so I fastened some heat resistant stuff (like you stick to a wall behind a radiator to reflect the heat) on the back of the pannier. Did the trick once I'd fastened it on securely.
