Default Alarm problem

We've got an Acumen alarm on Marky's SV and it's started doing some funny things today. For some reason the battery has run flat on the bike and the alarm has started going off. We've put the key in the bike but the alarm still keeps resetting and going off every 30 seconds. How can we disconnect the alarm? There's not enough strength to put it in service mode.

Cheers

charge the battery up, it is possable that your regulator has stopped working and thus not charging up your battery.

If you have a tricle charger, put it on the bettery while connected to your bike, it might give you enough power to put the alarm into service mode.

my last bike had a alarm imobilizer and it kept falttening the battery dont know why it was just a pain in the ass! when i came to disconnect it because it was fitted proff and thatcham approved the local shop wanted £60 to take it out! i couldnt do it myself because it was wired into the loom. i also had a datatool that would'nt dis arm and left me imobilized at work i ended up pushing the bloody thing home! i dont bother with them anymore there too much trouble.

The datatool is fine, i had my bike off the road for a month since my crash. It still started fine when i got it back. Its most likley not to be the alarm. Its usaly a combination of a bad bike battery & regulator.

Thanks people for your answers to my slightly random post. The damn thing kept going off in the background as I was typing. What a nightmare! He went to a mates house to borrow a battery charger but they had already loaned it out elsewhere (mental note for Xmas pressie). In the end he managed to get the bike bump started and ride it around/leave it running for a bit, enough to perk the battery up. He's going for a longer ride today. Turns out there was a reason why the battery had run down not alarm related but I didn't catch that bit

Did'nt leave it in "park" did he?That leaves the parking light on without you noticing and is a design feature put in by vested interests in the battery and battery charger industry.
Yes you guessed,I did that on Friday and was lucky to find a couple of blokes to help bump start it,but I probably killed off the old battery.
