Removing an Ermax undertray.

Has anyone ever removed one of these to fit the original again?

What I am planning on doing is re-attaching the original & adding a Hamicad tail tidy.

One of my paranoia's is that road users behind won't see my indicator flashing.

Just a thought after my "off" last month & lucky escape.

Curvey, i would imagine, that if as long its not a cut off jobbie, you would remove the undertray(Remove whole seat unit etc), and bolt on the original. Another option would be is to fit an **** end type thing to the ermax undertray, and fit mini indicators and ting. Much better option that.

I think you'll find that if it's a pionty, and it's the older style tray (with the extra bit that goes between the two brake lights), then your stockundertray will have been cut and ruined. Only a replacement will do. Oh, and you'll have to find the original t-piece that fits between the brake lights.

If it's the later of the pointies... then you shoudl be alright, as all the stock items are untouched - assuming it's fitted correctly.

Hmmm yes check which tray you have, and if the stock item has been removed - look under the pillion seat and see if you can see undertray or the stock battery box extension that the tool kit fixes to.
