Default Pigeons!!!

While out on a blat tonight i had a pigeon fly into me, Hit me full in the chest luckily i was just entering a village so had reduced my speed. A couple of hours later and I've still got the marks on my skin where it hit. gawd knows what would happen if you hit one a speed.

I hit a pheasant full on with my helmet visor, that knocks the wind out of your sails for a bit, Luckily I stayed on and never enquired after the birds health.

This daft bird just took off out of a hedge as i approached it

yup had a sky rat. Lucky it hit screen before bouncing off my helmet, but still nearly took my head off.

All the blood, guts/feathers made my visor a bit messy.

My other hit one whilst doing 120mph...
Took his visor off, left him with a bruise on his head and made a right mess all over his leathers!

Cheif road tester of Ride magazine hit one @ aprox 160mph on a road test in Europe. His lid held even tho the sidepods popped off.

Impact was so hard there was bloody from the skyrat on the outside.... and blood from his broken nose on the inside

Wheres the hawks when you need em eh?

Some years ago me and a pigeon hit at about 80mph, it hit me square in the face, it pulled my hands off the bars, my head went back and there was a curved bruise on my back where the base of lid hit. Amazingly I managed to get control back before veering into the next lane, but it was bloody close.

There was snot and blood and other unpleasant stuff all over my lid, and my neck hurt for weeks afterwards.
