Default Advice - Forks

Hey all,
Got my bike back from the repair shop after 6 months of if being in repairs but it appears they left it out in the raid in their yard for that 6 months so its repaired but the "New" front forks they fitted are covered in rust.

Any advice on how I can clean this up...

take it straight back to the tossers and make sure they replace them again

I would take this "all the way" with them
