Some people use it, more than a few have said they like it.
It's fine for o-rings, all modern bike chains are o-ring or some variation on the idea of a rubber seal between links. |

I use it and, like Tony the tiger, I think it's grrrrrrrreat. It doesn't fling much, doesn't pick up a lot of muck, is easy to apply and does a good job of protecting the chain.

I have used it and will continue to use it since it came out on top in a recent RiDE survey.
Just about zero fling over your rear wheel and priced competitively aginst its rivals. The only problem is that as its a "dry" lube and comes out with the consistency of a deorderant aerosol, you can't really tell how much you are putting on and you can overdo it as you cant actually see that your chain is lubed ![]() |

I use this stuff as well. Busters recently sent me 2 cans of Silkolene race lube (instead of silkolene pro cool!?) I didn't bother sending them back because I had just run out of the wurth stuff. Looked sort of similar - no directions, so I merrily spray this stuff on. However after a few minutes the stuff goess super sticky - Like fly paper. Not only did evry single bit of cr@p from the road stick to it, so much of it flicked of that it completely basted my rear wheel.
Needless to say a bath in some paraffin and another can of wurth stuff and things are looking much better now! Oh, I now have 2 cans of Silkolene race lube going free to a good home (I'm not joking!) If anyone wants this stuff, then drop me a PM and i'll pop a can in the post. |

Wurth Dry chain lube is good stuff, I just found it a little tricky to work out when it needed some more (it's clear you see....) sure I could have worked it out with time but fitted a scottoiler instead...
