Default Orange Support

Has anyone else noticed their customer support has downgraded lately. I have called them a few times over the last few months and have always had to wait for at least 20 minutes before getting through. I've been with them for around 5 years now and have always got through relatively quickly as I'm on a business contract.

Now it seems they are always experiencing a high number of calls - please call back later.

I've recently upgraded my phone and this week cant get any coverage on it - so I am sitting on the home phone calling their helpdesk which happens to be a mobile number...... ££££ Not happy

Use the automated system to go through the options for billing. Choose something that means someone will have to take details from you instead of you typing into a computer, and that you want to pay your bill.

Supprising how fast you can talk to someone when they're going to be taking your hard earnt money away!

Barstewards - 1hr 11 mins before they picked up. Took some arm twisting to get a credit of £25 compensation - but they came through. Turns out there is a mast down in the area.... and yes I checked their website on coverage prior to calling - It also gave an error suprise suprise

Orange have the worst customer services I have ever come across. Absolutely apalling. And don't ever try to talk to anybody in their "accounts" dept, I'm sure it doesn't exist

, the lot of them.....

When Orange first launched in the UK about 10 years ago they were great. Customer service was fantastic. But it has since gone down hill.

With Vodafone now, no problems at all. Was once given the wrong information at one of their shops, and got a call back from customer sevices apologising for the mistake and with a rebate to my account.

Though the fact my brother works for Vodafone had nothing to do with it

Clearly not an ntl customer!

I complained in writing to ntl because the phone is NEVER answered. Customer Service wrote back about some completely random issue i have not had a problem with and that I have never spoken or written to them about, but then added the line that I had to speak to CS on the phone. I got back to them, pointed it out and they removed a service from me and wrote "Please phone the telephone fault team"

(OR the simple version..
Dear Sir,
You never answer the phone - this really hacks me off...

Dear Customer,
Thanks for your letter, please phone me!)
