Kwak, I've got a pair on my SV1000. Granted I haven't ridden it much but IMO the sound is just perfect.

I'll say as you have put it 'not mega loud but a nice rumble'. They look road legal when you look at the exit(looks like it has a removable baffle but not easily removeable really) but actually are race cans with like I said sweet sound.

I've got a stainless steel ovals and the code is PCS64/0 and has 'not for road use stamped on it'. I doubt with the 'not for road use polished out which I'm going to do myself, you'll really hav ea ny hassle as they do really look like road legal cans.

HTH

Cheers
Ben

The race cans I've got look like the real removable baffles but are definitely not your normal removable. Apart from the obvious rivet holding the outer potion of the baffle insert, it is further held be either rivets or welds further down the can.

You can be check anyways by getting the buyer to remove them .

Cheers

WTF does he mean by adapted .

Probably means to say he has gone into the can and removed the tack welds or rivet at so the baffle comes out with the front screw taken out. If the cans have ethe same part number as mine then that's almost definitely what has happened I guess.

IIRC some people have done it. If that is the case I think it's just a case of making sure the baffle still sits snuggly/secure with just the adapted screw and nut holding it. I would not see it as a biggie but I still think they sound just lovely with the baffle insert the Race can has as standard.

Cheers
Ben
