The SV is all sports... Maybe the fairing lower to go on but there is no real reason to do too much more than a new can if you like.

Understated is the new overstated!

BTW welcome to the site!

Ah we all went through it. It is just about managing to get through it without killing ourselves and then calming down. I had the craving to put down lightings on my mums K reg corsa about 5 years ago. Thankfully I never could be bothered :P

Opening up race fairings for lights fairly easily, but mostly they're built like ****... It takes a lot of work to make most race fairings look anything other'n cheap. Would it be a pointy model you'd be getting, or a proper curvy one?

If you get the S version all you really need is a belly pan (big bucks) just to finish it off IMHO. Arrowhead minicators are cheep, tenner a pair, from Busters neaten things up at bit. New can comes in at about £120 - £150 typically for Carbon Can Co or Scorpion a bit more if you want highlevel fitment - which would be my choice Tail tidy also neat - exposes rear tyre nicely.

SV650s is a sporty looking bike anyway IMHO - don't over do it.

You could put gixer 750 forks on it also gixer wheels, frame, fairing, seat, engine and a few other gixer bits to finish it off, that should sport it up nicely....
