Computer tech help pleeeeeeeze.
Why won't my Windows Media Player play *.avi files. Or rather it does in sound only. No pictures...? Why is that? Can I fix it? Cheers all. |

All avi files wont play? I'm guessing only some, probably due to some codecs you're missing.
Download this: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ It'll tell you what codecs you need to play the file, then you can go google for them. |

get the k-lite codec pack or nemo codec pack, then you can play pretty much anything in wmp.

or you could go for an alternative to wmp (which quite frankly is crap in the extream) www.videolan.org
not found anything it doesnt play yet.... oh and its free too |
