Lost my driving license - SV650.org

Not been caught speeding or anything like that, just lost the bloody paper bit.

Thought it might bugger up my trackday on Wednesday but No Limits have told me you only need the photocard... phew!

Any suggestions where I might have put it? I'm usually pretty organised and keep all my docs in a folder. Last time I had it was at Cadwell in the front pocket of my rucksack.

Grrrrrr...

Only £22 to replace but you have to send what you've got back so no trackdays for as long the DVLA take to send me a new one.

It'll be in that safe place, I've put loads of stuff in "a safe place", now if I can ever find where the safe place is

When I lost mine it turned up in a stack of papers that I'd 'filed' in a big box. I should really be more organised with my stuff...

It'll likely turn up just after I send off to the DVLA for a new one.

Either that or it's found it's way into a mag which I also had at Cadwell and I have thrown away.

On the bright side my new license might arrive minus details of my ban which was written on in biro.

place i lose everything important. i make an electronic copy of it and forget to take it out the scanner

i did that with my passport last year...

drove to heathrow between midnight and 4am, then drove back arriving at ~9am, slept until around 10pm, ate the only food in the house (shell pasta and one egg) and then did it all agoing for the following days flight

suffice to say i was a little fecked by the time i got there, especially as the rest of my family had flown out and got over the journey already
