Well...being a bit of goody goody and an old woman (literally!
![]() ![]() Sometimes if I feel an area warrants a slower speed than the limit then I'll go slower than the limit (such as outside schools, High streets, residential areas where kids play etc) then other road users behind get annoyed and sit on your tail, which of course is dangerous - especially on a bike. IMO the only answer is compulsory further training and driver education - not fines and penalties to everyone creeping accidentally a couple of miles per hour over the limit. when I did advanced training it changed my mindset, surely this is the way forward in some form or other? There seems to be such a zero tolerance to this nowadays...just like sticking a plaster over the real issues (driver education) and causing animosity in the process ![]() Thats my 2penneth! ![]() Last edited by ArtyLady; 18-06-07 at 10:00 AM. |
