From all I have read in other post, the Scottoiler seems to be a great idea. But my google search only leads me to UK and a few on ebay also in the UK. My question is there a reason that they aren't marketed in the USA? The only thing I can think of is that they don't want oil continuously dumped on the ground here? Any other ideas?

Scottoiler are a UK based company, there may be no US distributors for them. I'm sure they'd post over to you if you asked and paid postage. Alternative products are available, maybe some retail in the US? www.svrider.com is a US site and may have people who know what you can get hold of there

I would try contacting scotoiler direct, i'm sure they could arrange something for you there customer service is second to none. Wouldn't worry about oil being dumped on the ground either, you get a little sprayed on the rear wheel but nothing seroius, it washes of much easier than normal chain lube as well.

Excellent kit and worth every penny/cent IMO. I did 6000 hard riding miles e.g. lots of rapid acceleration, on my 955 daytona and didn't have to adjust the chain once, plus you know its in good condition and less likely to break etc.
good investment - go get one! ![]() |

Not if fitted and adjusted correctly. It should be apparent that when using spray lube that you must load up the chain with spray so it will last a while, this isn't the case with a Scottoiler - it drops a little on the chain all the time so it shouldn't be adjusted such that the chain is dripping with oil - if there's significant fling it's set too high.
