Any meets or rides in Cumbria/Lancashire I could join?

As the heading says.

I'm new to this forum and a new-ish biker (approx. 2 years of riding). I'll get my new SV650 on Saturday.

I would like to make new friends. My other half would also join. He rides a V-Strom 650. It's not a SV but has the same engine (does that count?).

We live in Kendal and we are fairly regularly at Devils Bridge and in Hawes.
We could meet up there for a coffee.

The V strom certainly doesn not count, it's a lardy cheap immitation of an SV, but since i ride a Gixxer 6 what do i know, Welcome

Oi my Dad's got a V-Storm... I've ridden it up and down Hardknott pass and Wrynose Pass, up and down over the twistys and enjoyed every little bit...
for a Bike that when I first got on it thought "This is gonna handle like a Boat..) I was shocked after about 15 minutes... It was like a JetSki... Fantastic...

which part of the LAkes are you from, as I have family close to Broughton-In-Furness

i am usually ALL over hartside pass (penrith to alston) And i ride a Black TDM (used to be an SV) anyway maybe see you there one day
