Default Two quick questions (brakes)

Yes I did a search, but I got about 2000 topics searching for 'brakes'...

How long do new pads take to bed in?

The tying the lever to the bar thing - reserve cap screwed on tight or loose?

THANKS!

Default Re: Two quick questions (brakes)

Depends on the type of pad, I always give new pads a scrub on the floor to take the edge off them, bed in straight away then.

The reservoir cap doesn't matter if you tie the lever to the bar, as when the piston moves at all then the passage to the reservoir is closed off.
