LIFE insurance policies and motorcycling

I can't think what section to post this in, can a mod move it if theres a better home, thanks.

I was about to take out a basic pay out if you snuff it life insurance policy to cover my mortgage sum, but was told (Legal & General) that motorcycling is excluded .

So this may be a flag to check your policies,

and does anyone have a life insurance policy that they know for definite does not exclude motorcycling?

(This is about life insurance, not bike insurance, travel insurance, pet insurance etc....... )

Mine excludes motorracing but not motorcycling. Royal sun alliance IIRC.

I was with CICA and there was no exclusion in their policy. However I'm in no way suggesting you consult them, their salesmen are like a virus. Once they have your details there's no getting rid of them.

I have a policy with CICA aswell but they are more suited towards being used as personal injury insurance rather than life as IIRC they only pay out £20.000 for death which i'm guessing is less than your mortgage.

But yes the sales guys are like a virus!!! lol
