Default Really hard to find the right leathers help needed please

I went to the shops this morning with the intention of buying some sporty leather pants with knee sliders etc, problem is im a short ar*e and im really finding it difficult to get a good fit. I believe i need a 30-32" waist with a short leg.

So i found a pair of REV-IT pants for 220 which were a good fit but was'nt sure how good a make they were and the bloke in the shop was simply desperate to sell me absolutely anything (whether it fitted me or not) Can anyone shed any light on build quality etc?

I also tried a pair of RICHA pants which were 170 in kawazaki newcastle they were an ok fit but i had'nt heard of them? apparently the police force uses them so they should be ok?

One shop could order in RST in a short leg but im not overly keen on them really.

The last shop i tried was Hien Gerrick and the salesman was a masssive help unfortunately they dont supply a short leg but he was willing to knock money off to compensate for getting them shortened in the local place they send thier customers to for alterations. I was really impressed as he never once tried to actually sell me anything and he made sure i knew that it was my health and safety that mattered regardless where i bought the leathers.
The pants i looked at in Hein Gericke were PSX-TROPHY pants @ 179.99 really liked them but i would have to have them shortened.

So oppinions on Hein Gericke, REV-IT, RICHA and i think i know enough about RST.
Think i might need LOZZO's help as he seems to be the site leather guru

Sorry for the long read but any help would be greatly appreciated

many thanks

Mick

Try a trip down the road to Barnard Castle. I'm sure Lozzo would agree.

Cheers for the link Gazza, i take it theres a showroom at the factory does'nt seem to be much choice on the website or were you thinking custom fit? would having a pair made be really expensive? I'll certainly give them a ring and have a chat anyway

many thanks

Dunno if there is a showroom, but I'd imagine they will have stuff you can try as you can go there to buy. M2M may be a bit more expensive, but they may well modify a pair of standard ones to fit you. As you say, give them a call. I'm more than happy with my Scott kit.

I've got the Richa Fury trousers and jacket and love them to bits [very comfy and good armour]. Got the lot from 'Topgearsuperstore' for less than 200 quid. Bargain!

Pop yourself back along to HG and buy some of their soft gel armour - called Hi-protec i think. Think its about £20 for a pair. Slot that in the armour pockets and away you go.
