the cheapest way is to get your weight off the bars, i found stompgrip pads meant i could grip the tank more with the knees and not put so much on the bars...

there's also heli bars but they're expensive

or fitting a naked top yoke with flat bars, this is what i eventually did, but it's dependant on getting a top yoke for a good price HTH

Default Re: Bar raiser for Curvy?

I converted my K2 to take renthal bars. I purchased some handlebar mounts from ebay for £15. I then drilled holes in the top yoke so as to fit the mounts. I then had to change the clutch cable for a longer one.I used one from an R6 and soldered a new nipple on to the end. I then had to replace the brake hose for a longer one.I had to cut some of the screen with a dremel tool as the new bars were hitting it. I am happy with the end result and dont get wrist or neck ache anymore. I decided not to change the top yoke as I understand that the Leg mount holes do not quite line up with the bottom yoke. I think they are about 1mm out of line. Best to check before you change the top yoke. Hope this helps a little.
