Default Water temp bulb?

Is this supposed to illuminate like all the other lights when ignition is turned on?

Don't wanna take it apart to find its not tested on ignition on lol.

I assume you mean the little LED in the tacho?

No, it doesn't. You can test it however by disconnecting the lead from the sensor on the thermostat[1] and grounding it.

Druid

[1] Ideally to the thermostat as this will ensure the thermostat itself is grounded, as it 'floats' on the hoses there is a tab on it and a connector plugs in to ground it, easy to disconnect it with no symptoms (as the bike will run fine).

+1 to Druid.

It cuts it at like 115 so if it does come on ever then STOP! Rare for it to happen though.

Easy substitute is to point breather overflow at clocks or something you can see... if you get wet you know it is boiling over!

Thanks both.

Im not worried, im having no problems. I just noticed it doesnt light up on the power on self test thing when ignition is on like every other light does.
