Default So then (Silly Friday question)

If you took all the boats, ships, yachts, and other floating things out of water world wide would the water level sink around the globe?

I'd say no, because the rate at which we're making the earth thaw would probably more than make up for it.....

Yea, probably. Not to any measurable effect, but theoretically yes.

What if we remove all the fish?!

Is that an accurate test though? (understandably its a little small scale but still...)

Reason being, the bowl is concave (on the inside), and the earths surface is convex.....so although they're both gravity driven, can the result be accurately displayed?

Or do we need to turn the bowl upside down to prove/disprove it? That might be tricky actually......
