Have you ever broken the peg off your gear selector or rear brake lever?
Now you can get home with out the need of gaffer-tap/tie-wraps and various other bits and bobs bodged to your bike in a garage forecourt or field (you know who you are ![]() I have the pre-production run of replacement TOE-PEGS These are going on sale soon to the general public but I have limited stock for sale to all you .ORG members at a discounted price ![]() Ther are two types, Firstly a GET ME HOME peg that will attach to the gear selector/rear brake lever in seconds, with only the use of two allen keys from your bikes tool kit ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Secondly, I have a replacement TOE-PEG that can be fitted after reaching home, by modifying the lever arm. This requires grinding or filing what is left of your peg flat, then drilling a hole through the arm to accept the supplied bolt ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have GET ME HOME TOE-PEGS in quantities of 3 blue 4 red 5 gold 0 black (awaiting PM) 0 natural I have REPLACEMENT TOE-PEGS in quantities of 4 blue 4 red 5 gold 3 black 10 natural All are made from aircraft grade billet aluminium, anodised to increase wear resistance and supplied with zinc plated grub screws for the get me home pegs & stainless steel bolt for the replacement toe peg. Prices to the .ORG are £10 for the GET ME HOME TOE-PEG £5 for the REPLACEMENT TOE-PEG PM me if interested Thanks Last edited by DavieSV; 10-12-07 at 10:39 PM. Reason: quantities altered |

Well done Davie for turning an idle chat about how to help people get home after an off, into a workable idea.
![]() I have been on quite a few rideouts where the gear or foot brake lever has broken and after much bodging the bike has continued under it's own steam. So get your money out guys and gals and carry one of these under your seat, if only to guarantee that ,then, you'll never have need of it ! ![]() |

It will fit most bikes
The get home peg will fit a lever up to 20mm x 8mm cross section and needs a 4mm gap between the lever and link rod |
