They bolt to the engine most of the riding schools have them fitted as they offer better protection than crash bungs.

my dad used to ave em on his old gsx 750,good protection for for engine oil casing etc & protect better the the crappy little crash bobbins we have these days.

only problem being they tend to look a bit numb.

i have sent a message to the ebay seller asking for pics of them on an SV650 to see if they do infact look a bit crap as i am starting to imagine they might.

i will post the pic if i get one, but for about £40 i might just get them anyway & see what they are all about

whats the betting they fit to the area of the engine that i have just fitted motoslider crach protectors to?
poss' rendering them un-fitable.

Having never seen them on the SV, this is but a guess, but i reckon they will mount on the same engine bolt.

Found this on pic for you Alan, might not be the same set but you get the idea....

Personally I wouldn't fit them, I'm happy with my JHS bungs (similar to motosliders but just a bit tougher)

1st set covered by the above, may look a bit fugly, but it's winter and they'll probably do a decent job if it all goes Pete Tong.

2nd set are bars to surround the Nekkid headlight and clocks. Again, not a thing of beauty. It's a practical thing....
