I take the twins on the back, it's quality time together and they love it. Have come up with an idea for Edward, a climbing harness on him with a belt threaded thru it and round me. I think the legal requirement is that any pillion must be able to reach properly secured footpegs with both feet, so don't really know where i would be in the eyes of the law with the harness? any ideas?

My eldest started riding at 7, is now 26 and owns a Gixer 600 K6, a 2004 R6 trackbike, an RM125 and a RD125 twin. Next one down is 18 and I used to take her to school on the back of a ZZR1100, she was highly regarded as a dead cool kid after that and it boosted her self confidence massively. Next one down is 16 and she wants a moped, but not some scabby scooter, she wants a proper geared one. My son is 14 and is like the 16 yr old one in his choices.

There's a Suzuki TS50X being built up.

I must get some photos of eldest one and her bikes

I carry both my girls on my bike, 12 and 15, and have for 3 or 4 years, i started off using sissy straps, and you are right about the foot pegs, don't think strapping the two of you together is a good idea, if you do have a off.......does not bear thinking about, wot if your lad ended up with you on top.......i would not be doing that

Hmmm, i really want Ed to go on the back again but don't know how i'm going to do it. He's seen the bike today and is dying to ave a go.... any suggestions? If you haven't seen his website (www.edwardbright.eu) have a quick look, will give you an idea of why i am having trouble getting him back on the bike.

As you say, thats a real hero , and i now see your perdicament, trip around the block should be ok, but he will want to go EVERYWHERE on the bike, once he has been on, not sure what plod would make of it, seems to be sites for disabled bikers, why not pillion

That's an idea.... i will try and get some advice off one of the disabled bikers websites, but like you say-it's all for bikers, not pillions
Someone somewhere must be able to come up with an idea?
