Fitting a louder Horn
I have an SV650K6Sport, and have just fitted one of the Motrax Hootaz things.
It only really just goes in as there is very limited space between the rad and engine so trying to fit both of the things in is going to proove troublesome!!! I had to put a big kink in the supplied mounting plates to put it back closer to the engine as the unit is quite deep and will not physically fit in otherwise. The wiring is an issue aswell as you need a splitter Y cable for it... That being said, it IS louder than the OEM one (which to be fair is next to useless) but nothing compared to an air system! Although a whole lot easier to fit... Does anyone have any experience of fitting these things? And if so has anyone managed to fit both of the horns in there? (And before anyone says "Just fit a LOUDER exhaust, It's loud enough already thanks!) |
