Default Quick car seat question

I was transporting a washing machine in my car on sunday and two 'helpful' chaps decided it would be a good idea to take out the rear seat so the back would lay down flat. Now I can't get the sodding thing back in again

It's an 02 Polo and it's the bench bit of the back seat. There are two hooks and I can see where they go but also two off centre clip type thing and I can't figure out where they hook onto.

Any ideas, anyone??

Hi Messie ...

Hard to explain ...

But you have to tuck the rear edge of the bench part under the upright bit at a shallow angle and then bang / push the bech bit towards the rear of the car and down at the front edge at the same time to engage those hooks .

It is easier with two peeps .. one each side ...I am !!!!

Caz.

**** it one with a hammer it's only a car

My memory is fuzzy but I'm sure they have the normal lock thing at the top so it's just a question of getting them lined up at the bottom.
