Default Which exhaust? (How many threads will there be on this subject?)

I'm sure this is a post which appears pretty often but can I have a few suggestions please as to what exhausts I should consider fitting to my 53 plate pointy to replace the oh so attractive and sexy lump of tin Suzuki saw fit to use as standard. I've not got a fortune to spend but at a stretch could probably top out at just over £200 or so. I kinda like the look of carbon fibre and was looking at both beowulf and scorpion who make cans around that price (I see Beowulf also do a matt black stainless steel but can't tell from their website what they really look like) so wondered if any of you good people out there have either and can tell me what they are like for sound, looks, (posting pics would be a great help) ease of fit (important cos I'm an utter mechanical numbnuts and will have to pay someone to do it for me) or if there's anything else I could and should consider.

Cheers

Plenty of threads in the exhaust section on this subject

http://forums.sv650.org/forumdisplay.php?f=137

Budget - Carbon Can Company or Fuel
Larger Budget - Remus

Fitting is about a 20 - 30 minute job but you have to cut the original exhaust off, have a search around there's literally hundreds of threads about doing it. Its not hard and if I can do it you will be able to do so.

I got the Fuel SS oval exhaust, £140 or something, removable baffle; pleasent noise without the baffle, quite and whispery to appease Mr MoT and Mr Plod with it in

I have an oval titanium sleeve from Fuel, looks great, sounds great, was much lighter than the standard can, is very well made, was pretty cheap, and you get some free mint cake with it. Absolute bargain, highly recomended.

I have seen a Beowulf matt black can (actually a pair of Warriors) and they are exactly that...very black and very matt.

Both myself and my other half have Beowulf titanium cans fitted and they are pretty good.

Fitting is easy enough. It took longer for me to line the can up nicely than it did to cut the link pipe, remove the old one and fit the new one.

I had a blueflame on mine and it sounded amazing, looked pretty good too.

I have just recieved a carbon Yoshimura exhaust which if you bought in the uk costs £480+, the build quality is absolutely bloody amazing, faultless infact. Worth it? who knows but it gives the best power gains and looks damn sexy.

They do one for the SV at about £280, a carbon or titanium.

What about those of the brand ''Viper''. There no so expensive and produce a nice sound. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of exhausts?

Go and see my mate Jim at Quill for an Evo2 street oval. About as close to illegal as you can get a kite badge on. They sound cool!

They'll fit it too if you can go get it.
