Default Leaving the bike for a month

I'm going away in just under a week for a month. There's no one I know that can take it out and ride it, so, what do I need to do to the bike, if anything? Thanks in advance

Alex

Nothing at all. It'll be fine and dandy

(most bikers probably don't even use their bike that often )

Drain all of the petrol and put it in the tank on my bike.

Should be ok, if anything you could hook it up to an Optimate?

A month? You make it sound like a lifetime.

The BillyC minimal-work advice would be:
Park bike usual. Go. Come back after a month. Key in ignition, start bike first time. Everything fine.

If not fine, then there was something wrong with your bike anyway - find out what it is and fix.

You may find you need to charge the battery when you get back to it, a month isn't too bad

If you have problems with your battery after a month, then I think there were problems afoot that needed fixing anyway.

As said before... just leave it, if it starts and runs fine then everything was probably okay to start with.
